Dr. Loan Mai is a General and Bariatric Surgeon who specializes in minimally invasive and robotic surgery. She completed her General Surgery Residency training at the Philadephia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. She also had the privilege of being on the surgical oncology service and trained at the world renowned Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. She completed her fellowship in Advanced GI/Robotic and Bariatric Surgery at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center in New Jersey. She specializes in advanced endoscopy and minimally invasive surgery in the treatment of obesity.

She immigrated from Vietnam with her family after her father served in the Air Force. Dr. Mai appreciates the value of a healthy lifestyle which attracted her to metabolic medicine and bariatric surgery. She is dedicated in providing high-quality and compassionate care. She offers comprehensive weight loss options and understands that the disease of obesity and its chronicity may require a multitude of treatments including medical, endoscopic, and surgical. When she is not at work, Dr. Mai enjoys spending time with her spouse and dog, as well as hosting family dinners.
